ארץ זוכרת A People Remembers app for iPhone and iPad

לקראת יום הזיכרון תשע"ח (2018) יוסי צור, אביו של אסף ז"ל שנרצח ב-2003 בפיגוע באוטובוס קו 37 בחיפה, משיק אפליקציה חדשה, "ארץ זוכרת יושביה" אשר מציגה תיעוד של הנצחות ואנדרטאות חללי טרור בישראל כפרויקט הנצחה לזכרו של בנו אסף ז"ל ולהנצחתם של חללי טרור ופעולות האיבה.

האפליקציה מתעדת כ-700 אתרי הנצחה בכל רחבי הארץ ומידי חודש מתווספים אתרים חדשים אשר המשפחות בונות או אתרים קיימים שמתגלים. באמצעות מפה של ישראל או מפה המאתרת את מיקום המשתמש יכול המשתמש למצוא הנצחות הקרובות למיקום הנוכחי של המשתמש או לחפש הנצחה מסוימת ברשימת אתרי ההנצחה.
באמצעות האפליקציה יכול המשתמש להניח פרח וירטואלי על ההנצחה ולהשאיר הודעה לזכר החלל/ים באותה הנצחה.
עם תחילתו של האביב ויציאה לטיולים האפליקציה מקנה ערך מוסף בספקה מידע על הנצחות שקמו לזכר הנופלים ואשר המטיילים עוברים לצידן.
המפה גם מראה את ההיסטוריה של המאבק בטרור בארץ ישראל. גושי ההנצחות מעידים על איפה היו הפיגועים, אם בשנות החמישים מסביב לעוטף עזה עת חדירות הפידאיון היו יומיות או מעמק החולה בשנות השישים כאשר סוריה היוותה המקום מנו חדרו ופיגעו בישובי הספר ועד שנות האלפיים כאשר מרכזי הערים ספגו עשרות פיגועי התאבדות.
אפליקציה זו נוצרה כהמשך טבעי עם התקדמות הטכנולוגיה והמעבר לניידים, המשך לאתר האינטרנט "ארץ זוכרת יושביה" שהוקם לפני כ-12 שנה כפרויקט הנצחה לזכרו של אסף צור ז"ל. האתר דינאמי ומתעדכן תכופות באתרי הנצחה חדשים. כתובת האתר www.ezy.co.il , מידע נוסף על אתר האינטרנט ועל פרויקט תיעוד הנצחת חללי פעולות איבה נמצא באתר ובאפליקציה בקטגוריה "אודות" .

A mobile application “A People Remembers” documenting memorials of terror victims in Israel is being launched for the upcoming 2018 Israel’s Memorial Day, “A People Remembers” is a project in memory of Asaf Zur who was killed in a terror attack in Haifa in the bombing of city bus 37 on March 5th, 2003.
The application documents about 700 different memorials and commemorations, each month more memorial sites are added when families build new ones or when new sites are discovered.
With a map of Israel the user can find memorials anywhere in Israel or around his position, in the list view the user can also search for specific memorials.
In the application the user can lay a flower and leave the victim’s family a personal message.
With the start of spring and summer the application gives added value by giving information on memorials the user stumbles upon or goes to visit.
The map also shows the history of the struggle against terror in Israel in the last 100 years. The memorials show where attacks took place, in the fifties around the Gaza strip, in the sixties in the Hula valley and in last years at the center of the cities suffering from suicide bombings.
The application was created as a natural extension to the Web site created 12 years ago with the same name, at www.ezy.co.il , now with the advancement of technology and move to mobile devices a mobile application was needed.
The application lets the user contact us, whether to leave feedback, notify about a new memorial or lay a flower on an existing memorial. While the application first purpose is to share the info that exists, and show the memorials to the public, emphasize was put on allowing the users to give feedback and hence have bidirectional communication at all times.
